We are pleased to announce that as of May 1, 2012, we will have undergone a transformation to a modified set of services as described below:
After 30 years of providing full time therapy and consultative services, as well as, serving as Clinical Director of Ackerman and Associates, P.C. Joyce will be transitioning the focus of Ackerman and Associates, P.C. to increasing ReFOCUSment and mediation services. She will continue working with her current clients, but will not be accepting new psychotherapy clients. Ackerman and Associates, P.C. will be changing the business structure and will no longer accept insurance based payments, except for Joyce's current clients, after May 1, 2012.
Each of the other current therapists will continue to provide therapy services to their own clients and will continue accepting new clients. However, effective May 1, 2012, each therapist will be in their own business practice rather than under the business practice of Ackerman and Associates. P.C.
